The BEST Group NB (Narrow Body) clamshell series is the industry standard for narrow body, lightweight machines. These highly durable tools maintain a low profile requiring minimum operating clearance. Our unique patented bearing design produces excellent surface finish results on any alloy material being machined.
The revolutionary NB clamshells are capable of cutting all wall thickness and alloys with minimal time and effort. They may accomodate flange and pipe sizes varying from 4.5" OD to 30" OD.
Easy to set-up and operate, our NB clamshell can be used in any environment making them perfect for under water, nuclear, or other hazardous condition. Labour costs are reduced with this easy to set-up, lightweight machine.
Severing, bevelling, I.D. boring, facing and O.D. turning are just a few of the tasks that these remarkable machines can perform with ease.
